Amber’s Tutelage provides personalised online tuition primarily designed for Kinder/Pre School to Year 12 students, and even adults too! We offer a flexible face to face and online learning environment, with each session tailored to each learner’s specific needs. Our team of tutors are experienced, caring and passionate about helping learners’ achieve their identified personal goals.
I feel so privileged, every day, to have been able to assist thousands of learners throughout my career as a teacher, tutor and a coach, to both children and adults. Teaching is a life-long passion of mine, and there is no greater gift than to be a part of the journey towards personal empowerment and success. Whether it be from assisting and supporting people with the acquisition of knowledge, developing a belief in oneself, or simply building the resilience to take risks and be able to reflect positively on one’s experiences.
Bella has a postgraduate degree in Accounting and Business and is currently completing a Masters in Teaching. Originally from Vietnam, she loves travelling and hiking. She is passionate about helping students to achieve their goals and improving their mathematics skills, which is her specialist area of knowledge.
Bonnie is studying Secondary Teaching at University, with the intention of becoming an English and History teacher. She has a passion for learning and helping students to grow through their learning. She believes that all students have the potential for success and understands the importance of finding an individual style that works for each client. She is a creative person and enjoys painting in her spare time.
Danny likes to take on a challenge, and enjoys the problem solving aspects of maths and technology. He thoroughly enjoys working with the clients at Amber’s Tutelage and loves the rewarding aspect that occurs when a student finds the ‘spark’ that helps them to achieve their goals.
Evelyn has lived in Darwin for 40 years and has a background in the finance industry. Her love for helping people led to a career change as a Teacher’s Assistant. She enjoys helping children, adults and seniors in the community through challenging times. She believes that we all need some help sometimes, either in education, retraining or just the day-to-day challenges of life.
Mpumi is currently studying a degree in professional writing and editing. When she isn’t working on ways to help her community and others in need, you’ll probably find her watching documentaries or cartoons, baking or writing. She is empathetic and passionate about education and improvement, and eager to help all of her students to be their best selves.
Chris is currently undertaking a primary teaching degree and relocated to Darwin from Tasmania three years ago.
He previously worked for an electronics company and has a 5-year-old daughter who started transition this year.
His favourite hobby is music and he enjoy playing the drums and guitar.
Crisca is an enthusiastic and focused person who enjoys volunteer work and helping those who are less fortunate in her spare time. She is currently undergoing medical studies at university and plans to build a career working with children, to understand their behaviour and brain development. She is passionate about education and loves developing interactive learning techniques for her clients. She enjoys working at Amber’s Tutelage because it is a safe, educational environment to learn and grow in.
Ashley loves to dance and act in her spare time and and hopes to one day start a business that uses performing arts as a therapy for at-risk youth.
She has a younger brother with a disability and enjoys working with people with additional needs. She has a special interest in helping people with learning difficulties.
Emma has an undergraduate degree in English and history, plus a postgraduate degree in writing. Currently she is studying a Masters in Secondary Teaching, with the intention of becoming an English and History teacher. She has a passion for education and helping students to grow through their learning. She believes that all learners should have access to fair and inclusive education. In her spare time, Emma enjoys reading, writing, and swimming.
Mitchell is a local artist with a passion for sharing knowledge. He has a wealth of experience working in primary schools, and enjoys working with challenged learners. Mitchell believes in sharing knowledge through compassion and patience.
Sheikh is a social worker who is passionate about helping people. From a young age, he volunteered at a community centre where he fell in love with helping young learners. He has a graduation degree in business, a post graduate degree in hotel management, and is currently pursuing a teaching qualification. He interested in arts and craft, cycling and Salsa dancing.
Damon is passionate about working with children and loves to guide young learners on the path to success. He is currently studying Business Administration and is planning to undertake an Education Support certificate upon completion. He takes great satisfaction and fulfillment from watching his students thrive. In his spare time, he listens to music and watches movies, and he also loves birds.
